| This is one of, if not the best K/Du stories I have read. It captures you from the first paragragh and does not let go till it's bitter sweet ending. A deffinate must read. Ariana you've out done your self! | |

| ...Folks, you *must* read this story. Drop whatever you're doing, lock the door, and just let it wash over you. Trust me, it'll be worth the time and effort ... "The Agreement" was the first DS9 story I had ever read ... I was completely blindsided, bowled over, addlepated, dumbstruck, by the time I finished. As far as I was concerned, the world had stopped revolving ... The characterizations - of Kira and Dukat in particular, but also of Odo, Weyoun, Ziyal, and the others - were on target. "The Agreement" was, at its heart, a love story, but it was a love story that was allowed to evolve; the initial spark was gradually - carefully - fanned into a warm fire, rather than forced into a conflagration by a heavy dose of gasoline. The catalyst for the transformation from hatred and suspicion into love and trust was an exquisitely crafted moonlight scene on Bajor that has got to be *the* most romantic scene I have ever come across in fanfic. My heart was in palpitations for hours after first reading it ... The Collaborators have outdone themselves with this story, and I applaud their efforts. Bravissimo! | ||||

| It's absolutely wonderful! A stunning achievement. The subtle nuances are great, and very true to the characters, I think. Wouldn't it be wonderful if something like this happened on the show? A remote possibility, I admit, but perhaps not as remote as it once was, if rumors are correct. But then, we all know about rumors, right? | ||||

[1997 ASC Awards Post] This happened to be the first K/Du I read, and a worthy beginning it was. The tensions between Kira and Dukat were palpable and the story itself was captivating. |
